What this aim test measures

Aim test FAQ

What is a good aim test score?

Around 250–300 ms average acquisition time is typical; 180–220 ms is competitive-gamer level, and sub-180 ms with 90%+ accuracy is elite. Our Aim score maps your speed and accuracy onto a 0–1000 scale and a rank tier.

Does this measure accuracy or just speed?

Both. Every click is counted, so accuracy = hits ÷ clicks — spamming the mouse lowers your accuracy and can't be gamed, unlike tests that ignore misses.

What's the difference between reaction time and aim time?

Reaction time is from the target appearing to your first cursor movement; aim time is from that first movement to your click. Splitting them separates how fast you notice a target from how fast you land on it.

How can I improve my aim?

Pick a comfortable sensitivity and keep it consistent, warm up 10–15 minutes daily, and shrink target size as your accuracy holds above 90%. Track the trend over weeks rather than single runs.
